On 24.10.2017, IDS-BUD S.A. concluded an agreement to perform the contract: ‘Rebuilding and development of the sewage treatment plant in Myślibórz along with construction of the Golenice-Myślibórz sanitary sewer’.
The project was commissioned by Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji.
The subject of the agreement is the design, rebuilding and development of the sewage treatment plant in Myślibórz which performs mechanical, biological and chemical sewage treatment processes. Moreover, the scope of the works covers construction of the Golenice-Myślibórz a sanitary sewer. The following works will be performed within this scope: construction of a gravity discharge sewer of the sanitary waste water treatment with pumping stations and channels connected to households in the sewer drainage area, construction of a controlling and monitoring system of the pumping station’s activity along with the function to transmit signals to the control room of the sewage treatment plant in Myślibórz (an optical fibre is connected to the control room of the water purification station in Myślibórz, from where the signal is further transmitted to the control room of the Myślibórz sewage treatment plant), as well as closure of the sewage treatment plant in Golenice through dismantling treated sewage outfall in the Dobropolski lake along with dismantling of the sewage inlet channel. The task also covers replacing equipment of the existing pumping system in Golenice.
Objectives of the investment:
- Securing compliance with the Urban Waste Water Treatment Directive 91/271/EEC.
- Protecting surface water and groundwater sources.
- Enabling compliance with legal requirements concerning management of waste arising from the process of urban waste water treatment, including the Landfill Directive (1999/31/EC), Directive 1986/278/EEC, as well as the so-called Working document on sludge. 3rd Draft - EC DG XI, ENV/E.3/LM (2000) on sewage sludge.
