IDS-BUD S.A. wins a contract in Belarus
We have the pleasure to announce that on 25 February 2020 IDS-BUD signed a contract for the Construction of the new seat for the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Minsk located at Starovilenskiy tract.
The project was commissioned by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland located in the Republic of Belarus.
The procedure was conducted by way of negotiations with the announcement under Article 131 (h) of the Act, Chapter 4a Defence and Security Contracts.
The architectural design studio which developed the project is PRC Architekci Sp. z o.o..
The subject of this investment is the construction of a new building for the Embassy of Poland in Belarus, together with land development and accompanying infrastructure.
The building will include 3 overground storeys and one underground storey, as well as technical equipment installed on the roof.
The land has been allocated for the needs of the Polish post by virtue of the decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus. The procedures for project coordination and the manner of conducting the investment on the land result from the extraterritoriality of diplomatic posts.
The land plot allocated to the new headquarters of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Republic of Belarus is located in the future building line of diplomatic posts, situated between Starovilenkiy tract and the Park of Peace located around the Komsomolskoye Lake reservoir, and borders directly on the land plots designated for the construction of diplomatic posts of Azerbaijan and Moldova.
The Polish diplomatic post will neighbour directly with the aforementioned embassies of Azerbaijan and Moldova and, further to the north west, the Iranian embassy and the magnificent facilities of the Youth Palace and Russian embassy.
The contractual date for the investment completion is set at 36 months with an 8-month preparation period.
